The record was set on a 2026 Silverado EV Work Truck model, officially rated for a range of 793 km by the EPA. The vehicle used “smart driving techniques,” including driving at speeds of 32-40 km/h. In addition, GM engineers applied a number of tricks and made several modifications.

 
Xiaomi has released a major update to its proprietary driver assistance system (ADAS) for its electric vehicles. The new version is already available for the SU7 Pro, Max, and Ultra models, and will also be pre-installed in the YU7 sedan. The main innovation is an improved algorithm trained not on simulations, but on 10 million short clips of real trips recorded from cameras, lidars, and radars.

 
The German automobile club ADAC conducted a four-year durability test on the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S electric vehicle and obtained impressive results. After nearly 160,000 km of driving, the model's battery retained 91% of its original capacity. This is higher than the manufacturer's guarantee, which promises a minimum of 70% at the end of the eight-year warranty period.

During the test, the specialists did not spare the electric car: more than 40% of the charges were carried out at high-power stations, and the car itself was regularly left fully charged for several days, which is considered harmful to the battery. Nevertheless, the result exceeded expectations. The tests were accompanied by regular software updates, including the installation of a charging routing system that takes into account traffic jams and remaining charge. One of the updates even increased the charging power to 170 kW.
