BYD has unveiled a hybrid station wagon with a range of 2000 km
BYD has unveiled its Seal 06 DM-i hybrid car in a station wagon body. The novelty is characterized by a range of 2,000 km, rich interior equipment, powerful electric and gasoline engines with low fuel consumption and a relatively low price.
The BYD Seal 06 DM-i measures 4850 x 1890 x 1505 mm with a wheelbase of 2790 mm. The body also gets a 670-liter trunk with an increase to 1,535 liters due to the folded rear row. The basic configuration includes an internal combustion engine with 1.5 liters and 99 hp, as well as an electric motor with 161 hp. Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 8.7 seconds, and fuel consumption is 3.15 liters per 100 km. There's also a 10.08 kW FinDreams lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack with a range of up to 80 kilometers (CLTC).
The second configuration has a more powerful electric motor - 215 hp, acceleration time to 100 km/h is 7.7 s, the battery capacity is 18.71 kWh, and the electric range is 150 km. Charging from 30 to 80% takes 25 minutes, and fuel consumption is stated as 4.25 liters per 100 km. Together with a 65-liter fuel tank, the range goes up to 2,000 km.
The base saloon gets a 12.8-inch screen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. There is also a heated refrigerator, six speakers, as many airbags, heated and ventilated front seats, LED headlights and DiPilot 100 by 100 TOPS assistance system. It has 12 cameras, five millimeter-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Thanks to it, there is autopilot, but it only works on highways. The top-of-the-line package adds a 15.6-inch screen, eight speakers, seven airbags and DiSus-C air suspension.
Pricing for the BYD Seal 06 DM-i ranges from $15,230 to $18,115.
