The Honda N-ONE e electric kei car can power homes and gadgets.
Honda has officially unveiled its new compact electric car, the N-ONE e, designed as an everyday city car with a well-thought-out interior and an external power supply function. This is the second such model from the Japanese brand. But this time, the N-ONE e is aimed at ordinary drivers rather than commercial customers.
The electric car is based on the gasoline-powered N-ONE model, which has been in production since 2012. Externally, it has remained almost unchanged, retaining its retro design. It features a new front panel with a black grille and two charging ports.
However, the interior has been completely redesigned. Inside, there is a spacious layout, a large screen, a push-button gear selector, separate buttons for climate control, and storage space. According to Honda, the WLTP range exceeds 270 km, and the maximum power will apparently be up to 63 horsepower.
The main feature of the N-ONE e is its support for Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) technology. The car can power gadgets during a power outage or on the road — at a campsite, on a construction site, or on the road.
Pre-orders will open on August 31, 2025, and sales are scheduled to start in September. Prices have not yet been announced.
