Lucid Air has set a world record for the distance traveled: the electric car traveled from Switzerland to Germany without stopping for additional recharging. The company gave more details about the record.

The Lucid Air in Grand Touring configuration with a range of 817-960 km according to WLTP tests was chosen for the record run. As a result, the car managed to drive 1205 km: from St. Moritz (Switzerland) to Munich (Germany). The driver was entrepreneur Umit Sabanji, who had previously set a record for the number of countries visited (nine) by an electric car without additional charging.

The company specifies that the route included alpine sections, highways and smaller roads. Despite this, the new record exceeded the previous record set in 2025 by 160 kilometers.

Recall, the Lucid Air Grand Touring has an engine power of 831 hp, a top speed of 270 km/h, consumption of 13.5-16 kWh/100 km. There is also fast charging, allowing you to replenish up to 400 km of range in 16 minutes.
