Zeekr is preparing to release its first hybrid car, the 9X, which can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.
Zeekr, part of the Geely Group, has unveiled its first plug-in hybrid. We are talking about the flagship 9X SUV, which is built on the new SEA-S (Haohan-S) modular platform and boasts impressive specifications, including a record-breaking 70 kWh PHEV battery.
The Zeekr 9X measures 5239 x 2019/2029 x 1819 mm with a wheelbase of 3169 mm and weighs over three tons. The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.0-liter DHE20-PFZ turbocharged engine with 205 kW (275 hp) and an efficiency of over 46% with three new electric motors with a total peak power of 1030 kW (1381 hp).
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.1 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 240 km/h. The CATL Freevoy battery system is available in 55.1 and 70 kWh versions. The new 900-volt architecture and 6C charging support allow the battery to be recharged from 20 to 80% in 9 minutes. At the same time, the car's dynamics remain almost unchanged even at low charge levels.
The Zeekr 9X is expected to enter the Chinese market in the third quarter of 2025. According to preliminary data, the price will range from $90,000 to $210,000.
