BMW has revealed a “monster” bike with nitrous oxide.
BMW has unveiled a concept model of the Titan bike based on the production model R 1300 R. This custom modification turns a touring motorcycle into a real dragster, equipped with a 1300cc opposition engine with 140 horsepower.
In addition to the powerful engine, a nitrous oxide system (NOS) is installed between two titanium mufflers, which can theoretically add even more acceleration. Visually, the Titan is inspired by raptors: it has an extended swingarm, a stripped Wilbers chassis, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system and a front end with an aggressive fairing and thin headlight.
The front end is highlighted by a giant air intake that visually shifts the center of gravity forward - for better grip on launch. Unlike the production R 1300 R with a speed limit of 200 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, the Titan is capable of going faster, but official data has not yet been disclosed.
The dual-exhaust system design and the button that activates NOS injection emphasize this car's focus on acceleration and adrenaline. There are no plans for mass production of this model - this is just a demonstration of the engineering capabilities of the R 1300 R platform.
