Audi Q8 unofficially rendered to rival X6 and GLE CoupeX-Tomi Design is taking a stab at rendering the already confirmed Audi Q8 expected to arrive within the next three years.
BMW invented the crossover "coupe" niche with the X6 (E71) which went on sale in 2008 and it was only recently when Mercedes-Benz responded with the GLE Coupe. Obviously, Audi wants a piece of the action which is why last month they reconfirmed plans to come out with an Q8 based on the second generation Q7 but "more emotional and more sporty."
Audi's chief designer March Lichte will be in charge of styling the range-topping Q model from Ingolstadt which will be more than five meters long. It could also spawn an e-tron plug-in hybrid derivative as well as a full electric version to tackle the Tesla Model X. There should also be a range-topping RS Q8 model featuring a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine but it's output is unknown at this moment.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Final Concept introduced with 480 HPMitsubishi has unveiled the Lancer Evolution X Final Concept ahead of its debut scheduled for the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2015.
Back in November a Mitsubishi representative confirmed the Japanese manufacturer is preparing the last hurrah for the Lancer Evolution and now we have the vehicle being introduced. It features a matte black paint, new chrome details and gloss finish on the roof and the rear spoiler.
Production Kia KX3 spied without camouflageThe Kia KX3 has been photographed in production trim without any camouflage in China.
The model has a familiar design that closely echoes the concept, revealed at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. The only visual changes we noticed are the fog lights with different shape and the headlights and taillights with new graphics.
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition unveiledLamborghini has introduced the new Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition.
Designed to celebrate the company's "long and ongoing" partnership with Pirelli, the special edition features a two-tone exterior and "exclusive equipment specifically designed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile."
The first two-tone option features matte black paint on the roof, pillars, mirrors and engine cover. It is contrasted by a glossy body which is available in Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo or Grigio Ater.
Acura NSX production version to finally debut at NAIAS next month, teaser images releasedAcura has announced the long-awaited 2016 NSX will finally debut in production guise next month at NAIAS in Detroit.
They also provided several teaser images with the vehicle which as you can see will stay true to the concept. Acura promises the second generation NSX is going to provide a "new sports experience" and will be the "ultimate expression of Acura performance that is fueling a reenergized brand." Without going too much into technical details, the company says it will have a three-motor, twin-turbocharged Sport Hybrid power unit mounted inside a "human-centered supercar."
The second-gen NSX was originally announced back in the summer of 2005 and was previewed at the 2012 NAIAS by a concept and then updated a year later for the same show. Now, Acura says the production-ready version will premiere on January 12 at NAIAS in Detroit before entering production at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio.

For last year's Essen Motor Show, Moscow-based LARTE Design brought an upgraded Range Rover Evoque and now they concentrated on restyling the bigger Range Rover Sport which has oddly been named "Winner." It comes with a redesigned front fascia featuring a different grille with three trapezoidal frames up front and two bigger ones for the lower grille, with all five sporting blue accents.

At the end of last month, Porsche revealed a range-topping Panamera edition labeled "Exclusive Series" and limited to just 100 units. 48 hours later, there weren't any cars left as despite a hefty ?249,877 price tag, 100 customers quickly snatched the high-end Panamera based on the long wheelbase version and featuring a two-tone paint and a vast array of interior cabin tweaks.
Infiniti Q60 concept to debut in Detroit, will closely resemble the production modelInfiniti executive design director Alfonso Albaisa has revealed plans to introduce a Q60 Coupe concept at the North American International Auto Show.
Speaking to Motor Trend, Albaisa said the concept will be "very, very, very, very close to the next Q60." He declined to elaborate but Infiniti chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura has previously confirmed the production model will arrive next year and will be "a little bit bigger than a BMW 4-Series but not as big as a 6-Series."
Engine options will likely carryover from the Q50 but Nakamura hinted there could be an Eau Rouge variant - with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that develops 560 bhp (417 kW) - if the Q50 Eau Rouge concept is approved for production.

Fans of hot wagons in the U.S. are probably pretty upset with Volkswagen since there's no word about stateside availability as VW says the model is set to go on sale only in Europe starting next spring. It looks essentially the same as the Golf R hatchback but obviously with the longer rear end which grants a 605-liter trunk capacity with the seats up and 1,620 liters if you fold them down.
2015 Ford Everest officially revealedFollowing last week's teaser, Ford has fully revealed the all-new Everest which is programmed to go on sale next year.
The 2015 Everest is based on the Ford Ranger from where it inherits the styling but with a more premium look both inside and out. Noticeable features include LED daytime running lights, aluminum front & rear underbody protection and a large chrome hexagonal front grille. It benefits from a generous 225mm ground clearance and 800mm water-wading capability while the towing capacity stands at 3,000 kg. Ford says it has a best-in-class 750 kg cargo payload (up to 100 kg roof payload) and a 29-degree approach angle and 25-degree departure angle.
Audi A1 facelift revealed with 3-cylinder enginesFollowing the refreshed Audi A6 and Audi Q3, the German brand has unveiled a facelift for its A1 and A1 Sportback models.
The vehicles have received new front grille and headlights graphics and new paint combinations. Audi also says both models are now two centimeters (0.78 inches) longer at a length of 3.98 meters.
Volkswagen Golf GTD R under consideration?
Facelifted Subaru Impreza priced from $18,195 in the U.S.Subaru has announced the facelifted 2015 Impreza will be priced from $18,195 in the United States.
Set to arrive at dealerships in November, the entry-level sedan comes nicely equipped with a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control and 60/40-split folding rear seats. The model also has power windows, remote keyless entry, a rearview camera and an infotainment system with a 6.2-inch display.
Volkswagen Passat R400 rendered, shows a possible look for Passat RIndependent designer X-Tomi has created a virtual range-topping R400 variant of the Volkswagen Passat.
The rendering shows a sporty saloon with many design changes compared to the standard Passat. It features a fully redesigned front bumper with large air intakes and a carbon fiber splitter, new side skirts and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels, similar to the one in Golf R400 Concept.
Toyota C-HR concept official images leakedTwo official images depicting Toyota's C-HR concept have appeared online prior to the crossover's debut early next month at the Paris Motor Show.
At the beginning of the week Toyota published a darkened teaser image showing the concept's profile and now two fully revealing images have hit the web with the C-HR which according to the company "combines a powerful new design language with an engaging driving experience and a hybrid powertrain."
Little else is known about the concept but chances are it previews a compact crossover set to be positioned below the RAV4. Most likely the production version will have something to do with the prototypes spotted undergoing testing by our photographers in the last few months. The model could be a derivative of the Auris hatchback set to be sold with the "Auris Cross" moniker starting sometime next year.
Mercedes-Benz C350 Plug-In Hybrid detailed ahead of forthcoming revealBritish media has managed to obtain preliminary technical specification regarding the Mercedes-Benz C350 Plug-In Hybrid.
Scheduled to go on sale early 2015, the plug-in hybrid C-Class will look virtually the same as the conventional model with the obvious exception of the rear charging port built into the bumper. It will also feature an active shutter grille which improves aerodynamics whenever extra engine cooling is not necessary.
Renault Clio Initiale Paris quietly introduced in FranceRenault has introduced at home in France the more luxurious "Initiale Paris" trim for the Clio supermini.
Back in May last year, Renault announced plans for an upper-spec Initiale Paris equipment level and now the first model to receive the more premium treatment is the Clio which in France kicks off at ?21,500. The configurator is now online and perhaps the most significant exterior change is the adoption of sleeker LED daytime running lights which have been moved from the center grille into the headlights.
Slow demand forces Fiat to temporarily suspend Panda productionFiat has announced production of the Panda will be temporarily suspended between October 16 and 27.
Earlier this month we found out Fiat halted production of the 500L for several days and now the company has announced they will do the same with the Panda assembled at the Pomigliano factory located in southern Italy. Production will be suspended between October 16 and 27 due to "the slowdown in the market in view of the end of the year", according to Giuseppe Terracciano, secretary general for the Fim-Cisl union in Naples.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class 35 Edition introducedMercedes-Benz has revealed the G-Class 35 Edition.
The 35 Edition comes just in time for the 35th anniversary of the model. The G-Class was first launched in 1979 and is believed to be sold until 2027 with a facelift coming in 2016.
