2016 Mercedes A-Class pricing announced

Mercedes has announced the facelifted A-Class will be priced from ?23,746.45 in Germany.

Currently available to order, the facelifted model costs between ?184.45 - ?892.50 more than its predecessor but features a number of improvements including revised styling, an updated infotainment system and a revised instrument cluster - among other things.

The range-topping A45 AMG starts at ?51,051 and features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has been tuned to produce 381 PS (280 kW) and 475 Nm (351 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 21 PS (15 kW) and 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Thanks to the extra oomph, the model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds which is 0.4 seconds faster than its predecessor.
