Chevrolet Bolt production model reportedly headed to CES

General Motor's Executive Vice President of Global Product Development has reportedly announced the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show.
The timing hasn't been confirmed but GM CEO Mary Barra will deliver the keynote address at CES on January 6th so an official unveiling would make sense.
Previewed by the Bolt EV concept, the production model will be a five-door hatchback that has been developed with the assistance of LG. The car's styling will echo the concept but previous spy photos have shown the production model will have a new front bumper, revised mirrors, and more traditional side skirts. The car is also expected to have conventional door handles and smaller alloy wheels.
Detailed specifications haven't been announced but the company recently confirmed LG will supply a number of different components including the electric motor, the onboard charger, and the power inverter module. The Korean company will also provide the battery pack, the electronic climate control system, the instrument cluster, and the infotainment system.
The Bolt is expected to cost approximately $30,000 and GM has already said it will deliver "spirited performance" as well as a range in excess of 200 miles (321 kilometers).
