Next-gen Volkswagen Jetta to get sedan, wagon, Alltrack and coupe versions
The next generation of the Volkswagen Jetta will allegedly be offered in no less than four body styles.
According to British magazine CAR, the all-new Jetta lineup will grow and is expected to include a sedan, estate and a rugged Alltrack derivative. Apparently these three body styles have already been approved but a source close to Volkswagen's headquarters in Wolfsburg says the company is currently considering a fourth member.
Daihatsu Copen production version leaked ahead of June reveal
Several brochure scans with the 2015 Dahiatsu Copen have surfaced the web ahead of an official reveal set for next month.
Back in November last year Daihatsu introduced the Kopen concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, announcing its intentions of bringing back the kei car in 2015. Last month several teaser images were released hinting at an imminent official reveal of the production version which is slated to reach the market next year.
2015 Lincoln Navigator kicks off at 62,475 USD
Lincoln has announced pricing details for the 2015 Navigator which can be had from 62,475 USD.
The all-new Navigator was unveiled earlier this year at Chicago Auto Show and it's set to reach dealerships at the beginning of fall from 62,475 USD, including destination and delivery charges. For this money clients will be getting the V6 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine which pumps out 380 bhp (283 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque. It works with a 6-speed SelectShift automatic gearbox and enables the vehicle to provide a towing capacity of 9,000 lbs.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat unveiled with 600+ bhp
Dodge has officially unveiled the 2015 Challenger SRT and Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Based on the facelifted Challenger, the high-performance models have an aluminum "power-bulge" hood, restyled headlights and a duck-bill front splitter. The car also has a new rear valance and LED taillights "that can be seen from blocks away."
The Challenger SRT Hellcat goes one step further as it boasts a larger front splitter, a bigger rear spoiler and an exclusive "Air Catcher inlet port which feeds ram-air directly into the engine air box through the driver-side parking lamp."
The Challenger SRT rides on 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels, while the Challenger SRT Hellcat has 20-inch lightweight forged-aluminum wheels with a matte black finish and Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. The latter model is also equipped with the "largest front-brake package ever offered in an SRT vehicle." It boasts 390mm (15.4-inch) Brembo two-piece rotors with six-piston calipers that promise to deliver "outstanding heat management/thermal capacity and longevity."
While the cabin echoes the standard model, it comes nicely equipped with a flat-bottomed steering wheel and heated / ventilated front seats with Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery. There's also retro-inspired gauges and a 7-inch driver information display in the instrument cluster. Other notable highlights include Hectic Mesh (SRT) or Dark Engine Turn (SRT Hellcat) aluminum trim and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display.
Peugeot 208 Like special edition announced for France, will reach other European markets
Peugeot has introduced the 208 Like special edition which will initially be available in France but will reach other European markets in the near future.
It will be sold in both three- and five-door versions and clients will have to select from one of the following exterior body paints: Rouge Rubi, Noir Perla Nera, Bleu Virtuel, Gris Aluminium and Blanc Banquise. Regardless of choice, all of them will have white wheels and contrasting details such as the mirrors, grille frame and the "208 Like" stickers.
