Peugeot 208 Like special edition announced for France, will reach other European markets

Peugeot has introduced the 208 Like special edition which will initially be available in France but will reach other European markets in the near future.

It will be sold in both three- and five-door versions and clients will have to select from one of the following exterior body paints: Rouge Rubi, Noir Perla Nera, Bleu Virtuel, Gris Aluminium and Blanc Banquise. Regardless of choice, all of them will have white wheels and contrasting details such as the mirrors, grille frame and the "208 Like" stickers.

The interior scheme has received a white & blue theme as the door trim, gearshift lever, climate control area and seatbelts were painted in white while the seats have a black & blue look and come with white stitching and "208 Like" lettering.

The Peugeot 208 Like comes as standard with a tire pressure monitoring system, climate control, USB/AUX support, Pioneer sound system with headphones, cruise control (with speed limiter), electric windows, ABS, ESP and six airbags. Under the hood there's a 1.0-liter PureTech gasoline engine with 68 PS (50 kW) and a 1.4-liter HDi diesel with the same output. Both of them are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Prices in France for this special edition Peugeot 208 kick off at 10,490 EUR for the gasoline-powered version.
