Durability is further improved by the rubber spider Wet Sounds developed for their marine speakers.

The tweeters are mounted to the grilles, rather than to a pole piece, thus there is no chance of water leaking through the woofer cone.

Similar to the LED wiring, a male 2-pin waterproof SuperSeal plug is on the signal input wire, which connects to the included female SuperSeal harnesses. The red wire is positive and the black wire is negative.

These speakers fit into the openings for standard 6½ and 6¾ speakers (standard car speaker sizes). Because the frame is bigger than a typical car speaker and the grille is not designed to be removed, they won't fit in most car applications.
