Zeekr has unveiled an updated 001 with a “stellar” interior and 925 hp.

Chinese brand Zeekr has unveiled a new version of its flagship 001 electric vehicle, which has undergone a major exterior and technological update. This time, the company has focused on a new 900-volt architecture, record-fast charging, and a completely redesigned interior.

The main technical change is the transition to a 900-volt E-Powertrain platform, which allows the car to charge from 10 to 80% in just 7 minutes. In the all-wheel-drive version, the electric car produces 925 horsepower (680 kW) and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.83 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h. The rear-wheel drive version uses a 113 kWh CATL Qilin battery and can travel up to 810 km on the CLTC cycle.

The updated interior focuses on the emotional component. The new Starry Sky Concert Hall theme transforms the cabin into an atmospheric space with starry sky animation on the ceiling. The moon moves slowly across the virtual sky, stars twinkle, and meteors periodically fly by.

In addition, the 001 has received a new chassis, CCD Electromagnetic Damping adaptive suspension, and a G-AES active safety system capable of avoiding obstacles at speeds of up to 130 km/h. Tire blowout protection has been added, allowing the car to stay in its lane at speeds of up to 120 km/h.
