Xiaomi has pumped up the firmware of the SU7 electric car with video calls and other features

Xiaomi SU7 electric car has received a major software update. The HyperOS 1.4.5 firmware has added a number of new features, including video calls using the car's interior camera, enhanced charging station search capabilities, and other interesting innovations.

Some features require an application no lower than HyperConnect 16.0.0 (models with HyperOS 2) or 15.3.2 (the first version of the shell) to work properly. One of such innovations is video calls using the on-board camera. When making VoIP calls from a smartphone, the system disables the microphone in the car to ensure privacy.

The electric car has also learned to recognize charging stations of partner brands: Nio, Li Auto and Xpeng - when you search for them, you can sort them by power and price. The Intelligent Driving System has also been tweaked, with the following innovations:

Improved traffic light recognition
Smoother acceleration and braking
Overall improved traffic recognition
Remote parking function with remote control
Automatic turn signal deactivation at the end of a lane change
Improved speed and trajectory detection for vehicles and pedestrians

Finally, the anti-wing now responds not only to speed, but also to the driving mode. And opening the trunk interrupts the unfolding or folding of the antifender: the process is completed only after it is closed.
