Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun published a series of images online, where he personally showed the public the new Xiaomi YU7 electric crossover. The full-fledged presentation of the car is expected this summer.

The front part of the body of the novelty in its design largely resembles the SU7 model. It is known that the electric car will be equipped with a LiDAR sensor as part of the driver assistance system - the corresponding module is placed above the windshield of the electric car.

According to the Carnewschina portal, the company will offer buyers 26 different variants of wheel designs, so the photo shows only one of the possible options. The body dimensions of the new car will be 4999 x 1996 x 1608 mm with a wheelbase width of 3000 mm.

The Xiaomi YU7 is expected to be available in several configurations. The base model will get a single 235 kW (315 hp) motor and a lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack. The two-motor all-wheel drive configuration will “squeeze” up to 508 kW (681 hp) and powered by a triple lithium-iron battery.

According to unofficial reports, the price of the Xiaomi YU7 in China will range from $41,060 to $54,840 depending on the modification.
