The new Xiaomi YU7 crossover has been shown in photos from different angles

Xiaomi has not yet officially unveiled the YU7 electric crossover, but that doesn't stop the company from testing it on public roads. Moreover, the company is not even hiding its appearance, thanks to which a lot of photos of the car have appeared online.

As shown in the official images, the Xiaomi YU7 looks very similar to the SU7 sedan released last year. The crossover literally follows its design, but only in a more elongated in height body. Similarities are noticeable in many elements of the exterior. But inside, it seems, the differences will be more obvious. For example, the SU7 has one large screen between the driver and passenger, while the YU7 has an additional display on the passenger side.

The new Xiaomi YU7 will get two electric motors with the front one producing 220kW and the rear one producing 288kW. A lithium-ion battery manufactured by CATL will be responsible for power, and its top speed will be up to 253 kilometers per hour. It is not excluded that there will be other modifications, as in the case of Xiaomi SU7.

The Xiaomi YU7 is expected to go on sale this summer. Prices have not yet been announced.
