The three-wheeled pedal electric car Vigoz accelerates to 120 km/h

French company Cixi has unveiled the Vigoz three-wheeled car with a chainless pedal system capable of speeds up to 120 km/h. This is made possible by the Pedaling Energy Recovery System (PERS), which converts pedal rotation into electrical energy.

Vigoz is equipped with a 22 kWh battery, which is enough for approximately 160 km. The PERS system automatically adjusts the resistance of the pedals, allowing the driver to choose the most comfortable riding rhythm.

Even when the battery is discharged, the motor continues to operate. The car is equipped with an active tilt system that helps to navigate turns safely. Behind the driver, there is space for a passenger, an animal, or large luggage.

Both seats are equipped with three-point seat belts. The chassis contains elements to absorb energy in collisions. Currently, the Vigoz prototype has been tested at speeds of up to 100 km/h, but the production version will be able to reach speeds of up to 120 km/h. The company plans to begin certification and open pre-orders in the near future.
