Toyota has released the Urban Cruiser electric crossover

Toyota has unveiled its new Urban Cruiser electric crossover. This is the second fully electric vehicle of this type from the Japanese brand, and sales have already started in Europe.

The Urban Cruiser is built on a new platform for electric vehicles and is available in two versions — with a 49 or 61 kWh LFP battery. The 49 kWh version is equipped with a 142 horsepower front-wheel drive and offers a range of up to 344 km.

The 61 kWh battery version is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and offers a range of 426 or 395 km, respectively. The all-wheel drive version has a power output of 181 hp.

All versions are capable of towing trailers weighing up to 750 kg. Fast charging allows you to recharge from 10 to 80% in approximately 45 minutes. Standard equipment includes a heat pump and a battery preheating system.

The crossover measures 4285 x 1800 x 1640 mm, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm. The interior features 10.25-inch and 10.1-inch screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

In Germany, prices for the electric crossover start at €31,990.
