The Croatian company Rimac Automobili tested the advanced Rimac Nevera R electric car on a race track. As a result, 24 new world records were set.

First of all, the Rimac Nevera R holds a new speed record among electric cars: the hypercar accelerated to 413.45 km/h. The car also improved the result of acceleration to 100 km/h by nine hundredths of a second - it took it 1.72 seconds. Rimac specialists also measured the time to a full stop after acceleration, which, as they note, demonstrates the effectiveness of the braking system. The results showed that the Nevera R took 3.23 seconds to come to a complete stop after acceleration to 100 km/h. If you increase the speed to 400 km/h, the stopping time increases to 25.79 seconds, and this is 4.14 seconds less than the result of the last version of the car.

To achieve new indicators, the company had to rework the aerodynamics of the hypercar. In particular, the improved rear wing and diffuser increased downforce by 15% and aerodynamics by 10%. The new records also contributed to the replacement of tires on Michelin Cup 2 and reconfiguration of the traction control system on all four wheels.

The price of the Rimac Nevera R starts from 2.3 million euros, 40 cars will be produced.
