MASK Architects unveils solar bike with “wings”
MASK Architects has unveiled the world's first electric motorcycle capable of generating its own energy from sunlight. This means it requires neither charging nor fuel.
Solaris is equipped with retractable round solar “wings” that unfold over the bike when it is parked. The design increases the area for collecting sunlight by up to 150% compared to conventional panels.
An AI system is responsible for resource distribution, tracking the collection, storage, and consumption of solar energy in real time. The motorcycle's design is based on an aluminum-carbon frame, complemented by an aluminum pendulum.
The engine is described as a high-torque electric motor with regenerative braking support. However, the manufacturer has not yet disclosed any technical details, nor has it announced the price or release date of this “solar” electric bike.
