Lexus Unveils the TZ Family Electric Crossover

Lexus has officially unveiled its first three-row electric vehicle. The TZ is designed to compete with other large vehicles, including the Hyundai IONIQ 9, Volvo EX90, and Rivian R1S.

The electric vehicle is built on the TNGA platform and will be available with lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 76.96 or 95.82 kWh. Lexus claims a range of up to 483 kilometers on a single charge.

All versions will feature all-wheel drive, which distributes torque between the wheels for better stability and handling.

The crossover’s total output will be 420 horsepower. Charging at up to 150 kW replenishes the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes.

The crossover features the Lexus Interface multimedia system, Mark Levinson technology with 21 speakers, ventilated seats with ottomans, and an Active Sound Control system that mimics the sound of a gasoline engine.

Sales will begin in late 2026, with an estimated price of $60,000.
