Kia PV5 recognized as one of the safest electric vans

The Kia PV5 electric van received the highest safety rating in one of the most rigorous European ratings. During Euro NCAP testing, the commercial version of the Kia PV5 was awarded five stars in the 2025 rating.

The vehicle performed excellently in the categories of passenger protection, driver assistance systems, and post-crash safety. The standard set of ADAS systems, including automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping assist, and speed control, played an important role.

Euro NCAP particularly noted the effectiveness of the PV5's assistants in real-world scenarios. The van responded quickly to situations, provided additional protection for pedestrians behind the vehicle, and avoided collisions in most tests involving pedestrians and cyclists.

The Kia PV5 is comparable in size to the Ford Transit Connect and offers approximately 5.1 m³ of cargo space. The model is available with batteries with capacities of 43.3, 51.5, and 71.2 kWh. The range is approximately 400 km.
