Hyundai has announced a restyling of the Ioniq 6 electric sedan for the 2026 model year. The updated electric car has a more pronounced sporty design, and in general it looks even more futuristic. The car will also get a more powerful Performance N modification.

The first generation Ioniq 6 and so resembled a futuristic car with smooth lines, and in the updated version, the silhouette of the body became more streamlined - this is facilitated, in particular, by the redesigned shape of the hood with a concave design. In addition, the headlights have become narrower and shifted to the bumper.

Also Hyundai is preparing a sporty modification of the Ioniq 6, inspired by the concept RN22e, presented back in 2022. The manufacturer emphasizes the dynamic qualities of the model and its expressive appearance, where the rear part of the body deserves special attention.

The electric car is scheduled to debut in July 2025. The Ioniq 6, first released in 2023, is positioned as a competitor to the Tesla Model 3, offering a similar level of autonomy (up to 581 kilometers on a single charge in the rear-wheel drive version), comparable dimensions and cost.
