Honda changes its logo for the first time in decades
Honda has officially unveiled its updated logo, which will symbolize a new stage in the brand's history. The company emphasizes that the changes reflect its shift toward electrification and the production of hybrid models.
The new “H” logo will be used in Honda's automotive business and will begin appearing on production models in 2027. It will first be used on electric vehicles and key next-generation hybrids.
According to the company, the design is inspired by “two outstretched arms” and symbolizes customer focus and expanded mobility. The logo references the original 1963 Honda logo but is rendered in a more modern style.
The updated logo was first unveiled in 2024 on the Honda 0 Series concepts. The production crossover in this line, expected in late 2026, will be the first model to feature the new logo. The updated logo will gradually appear in dealerships as well.
