Honda has launched its first production E-VO electric bike
Honda has announced the release of its first production E-VO electric motorcycle. After numerous concepts, the company has released the affordable café racer-style model for the Chinese market through the Wuyang-Honda joint venture.
The bike can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h and comes with a 15.3 kW or 20 horsepower motor. Two versions of batteries are used: 4.1 kWh for 105 km of travel and 6.2 kWh for 170 km. Charging takes 2.5 hours from a wall outlet or 90 minutes at a high-power station.
The base model comes with a front camera, while the top-end model comes with two cameras and two 7-inch TFT screens (instrument cluster and navigation.
So far, the model is available only in China in black and beige colors. The price starts at $4500 for the base version and $5100 for the variant with a larger battery.
