Honda unveils full-size WN7 electric motorcycle
Honda has unveiled the WN7 electric motorcycle, which could mark the beginning of a line of larger two-wheeled models for the brand. The model is designed for the European market and is aimed at everyday urban travel.
The WN7 will feature a permanent magnet motor and chain drive, a 5-inch color TFT display, and support for the new Honda RoadSync navigation app. There will be a spacious 20-liter luggage compartment under the seat.
The range will be over 130 km, and the battery supports fast charging as well as charging from standard outlets. A full recharge will take less than three hours, and a CCS2 station will charge the battery from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes.
The motorcycle will be manufactured at Honda's plant in Atessa. So far, the company has not disclosed key parameters such as maximum speed, engine power, and battery capacity. The price was the main surprise: the WN7 will cost $18,000.
