Geely has announced the release of an updated version of the Boyue crossover with increased range. The company has revealed how far the car can travel on a single battery charge and has unveiled the interior and exterior design of the future new model.
The Geely Boyue is built on an EREV layout: the car is powered solely by an electric powertrain, but the internal combustion engine is used to charge the battery. According to the manufacturer, the new model will be able to travel 375 km on battery power alone, and up to 1,525 km with a full tank of gasoline.
Official images show the car in blue with a red and orange interior. Notable interior features include a large central screen, another screen serving as the instrument panel, and Flyme Sound acoustics. Other details, including the price, have not yet been announced.
Outside the Chinese market, the brand's crossovers are sold under the names Atlas, Starray, and Azkarra.
