Geely unveiled the new Galaxy Cruiser 700, a plug-in hybrid with an unusual combination of immense power and serious off-road capability. The vehicle is designed for both off-road use and comfortable on-road driving.
The powertrain includes three electric motors with a total output of 1,113 horsepower. The car is equipped with a 47.14 kWh CATL LFP battery, which provides a range of 165–185 km on electric power alone.
The SUV features tank-like turn, crab-like steering, and obstacle avoidance modes, as well as the ability to continue driving after a tire puncture. It has a fording depth of up to 800 mm, and ground clearance of 233 mm. Furthermore, the vehicle automatically switches between front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive.
The interior features five displays, seat ventilation, heating and massage, and over 50 mounting points for off-road accessories.
The Galaxy Cruiser 700 will go on sale later this year. Pricing has not yet been announced, but pre-orders are already open for customers in China.
