Geely-Galaxy-L6

Chinese automaker Geely has officially unveiled the new Galaxy L6 EM-i hybrid sedan. Compared to the Galaxy L6, the model has an updated design and improved performance. The price of the car is just over $ 10,000.

The car is equipped with a Leishen 2.0 hybrid power plant, including a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 82 kW or 110 horsepower, as well as an electric motor of 160 kW (215 horsepower). Two versions of the model with lithium-iron-phosphate batteries are available: 8.5 kW with a range of 60 km and 19.1 kWh, providing up to 140 km on electric traction. A full tank holds 60 liters of gasoline, and with a fully charged battery, the car can travel up to 1,300 kilometers. Inside, there is a 14.6-inch display.

The gearshift lever is mounted behind the D-shaped steering wheel, which frees up space in the center console. Thanks to this, it accommodates two slots for wireless charging, cup holders, and a convenient rotary transmission selector. Geely positions the Galaxy L6 EM-i as a direct competitor to the BYD Qin L DM-i and offers five trim levels. The base version will cost $11,330 - $12,695, and models with an enlarged battery will cost from $13,105 to $15,020.
