Dacia unveils Hipster mini crossover with “square” design

Dacia has unveiled the Hipster, a four-seater electric crossover just three meters long. The model inherits the ideology of the budget-friendly Dacia Spring, but is 70 cm shorter than the original.

With the rear seats folded down, there is enough room in the back to fit a washing machine. Instead of the usual handles, fabric loops are used, the windows are slid manually, and the headlights have no housing. All this saves on materials and reduces weight.

The interior features lightweight mesh fabric seats and a small screen in front of the steering wheel. The rest of the functions are accessed via a smartphone, which can be used as a multimedia panel.

The Hipster can travel about 160 km on a single charge, so the concept is designed for urban use and is not intended for suburban travel.
