Cybertruck owners have found an unexpected flaw in the electric pickup truck
Cybertruck owners have discovered that the front bumper of the electric pickup constantly collects snow and ice, which causes icy headlights. This causes the driver to have visibility problems in winter conditions, when the electric vehicle is supposed to provide maximum safety to road users.
Cybertruck owner Joe Fay noted that while the truck's headlights are bright and showy, they can become completely covered in ice. He said snow and ice accumulate due to the “giant shelf” in front of the headlights, blocking the light. Fay expressed bewilderment that Tesla didn't take this problem into account in its design. His video sparked a lot of discussion on Tik-Tok.
Other Cybertruck owners write that Tesla could have offered an additional accessory - a light bar that plugs into an outlet in the trunk of the truck. Such a modification could be a temporary solution and potentially improve visibility in difficult winter conditions.
A member of the Cybertruck Owners Club forum noted that similar problems are common to all vehicles with recessed LED headlights.
