Buick unveiled the new Electra L7 electric sedan in China. The car combines a long range and high-quality interior features at a relatively low price. Targeting the premium segment, the model is significantly less expensive than many competitors.
The car is equipped with a single electric motor producing 282 kW (376 horsepower). Power is supplied by a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 80.6 kWh, providing a range of up to 702 km.
Among the useful features, the model supports climate control, a heated steering wheel, and wireless smartphone charging, while a premium audio system is responsible for the sound.
The older versions received a semi-autonomous Xiao Yao Zhi Xing system with lidar, radar, 360-degree cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
The Electra L7 starts at $25,170. While the car is currently only available in China, it may be available in other markets as well.
