BYD Unveils the Seal 07 EV, a 322-HP Electric Sedan

BYD has released the first images of the Seal 07 EV, a fully electric midsize sedan. In terms of dimensions, the model is similar to the Toyota Camry and is aimed at the mass market.

The car measures 4,995 x 1,910 x 1,495 mm with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The sedan is equipped with a rear electric motor producing 240 kW (322 horsepower) and a 69.07 kWh battery pack. On a single charge, the car can travel up to 705 km on the CLTC cycle. The claimed energy consumption is 10.9 kWh per 100 km.

A LiDAR sensor is mounted on the roof, giving the model advanced driver-assistance features, including the God’s Eye 5.0 system with enhanced autopilot capabilities.

The interior features a 15.6-inch multimedia screen, a digital instrument panel, and wireless charging. The sedan is expected to start at $22,000.
