BYD's flagship Great Han will be able to travel more than 1,000 km on a single charge.
BYD has unveiled its new flagship electric vehicle, the Great Han, ahead of its official debut. The manufacturer not only showcased the new model's design in a series of teasers but also revealed its key technical specifications.
One of the electric sedan's key advantages will be its impressive range—up to 1,008 km. Although battery specifications have not yet been revealed, the Great Han will feature BYD's new Blade Battery 2.0 technology and support for fast charging. The latter will allow the electric car to charge from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes at 1,500 kW, and a full charge will take just 9 minutes.
The BYD Great Han is housed in a sleek body measuring 5256 x 1999 x 1510 mm with a 3130 mm wheelbase. The model will be available in single- and dual-motor configurations: rear-wheel drive (496 hp) and all-wheel drive (764 hp), respectively.
The BYD Great Han will make its full debut at the Chengdu Auto Show, which will be held from August 21 to 30, 2026.
