The BYD Denza Z9 GT electric car can travel over 1,000 km on a single charge

BYD has announced that the new Denza Z9 GT can travel approximately 1,036 km on a single charge. The brand calls this model the world's most autonomous production electric vehicle.

The new model is equipped with batteries with a capacity of 102.326 and 122.496 kWh, with a range of 820 to 1036 km according to the CLTC cycle. The electric car will be available with a single 370 kW (496 hp) motor or three motors with a total output of 850 kW (1140 hp), which is significantly more than the 710 kW of the previous version.

The car's dimensions are 5195 x 1990 x 1480 mm with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. The hybrid version (PHEV) will have a 63.82 kWh battery and a range of over 400 km on the CLTC cycle.

The model is equipped with the God's Eye 5.0 driver assistance system, including navigation with autopilot (NOA) in the city and on highways, as well as automatic emergency steering (AES).

The price of the Denza Z9 GT starts at 354,800 yuan, or $51,400.
