Audi has unveiled the Audi A6 plug-in hybrids

The German automaker has announced the release of a new version of the flagship A6 sedan. The model is equipped with a hybrid powertrain with a combination of a 2.0-liter TFSI engine with an output of 252 horsepower and an electric motor with an output of 105 kW. Audi A6 Plug-in Hybrid

The pairing of the gasoline and electric engine develops 299 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6 seconds, and the range on electric power alone reaches 103 km. This is almost one and a half times more than the last generation model.

The car features an advanced 20.7 kWh lithium-ion battery with increased energy density and charging support of up to 11 kW. This allows the battery to be fully charged in 2.5 hours.

Drivers can choose between hybrid and full electric car modes, and the intelligent energy management system automatically optimizes engine performance.

The car is available in three trims: Sport, S line and Edition 1. The base version will cost about $76,500. Deliveries are scheduled for June 2025.
